Basically Warped was phenominal. I got to help out with the Warped Eco Initiative which gave me something to do OTHER than shop... but naturally I bought two t-shirts. Jeeze.
PEOPLE. I met up with Josh briefly, and ended up carrying his shit around all day and never finding him to give it back. Jessica was working at the booth next to mine and she and I hung out for a little while, she rocks. Unfortunately the security at the show was fucking retarded and wouldn't let us get sidestage for FFTL.
Sam, Brittney and Kelsey were there, but I figured they didn't much want to talk to me so I kept it short. Ran into Nicole (from LJ) for about .5 seconds. Else I was on my own, but it was cool. I talked to random FF5 and AM! fans. They always seemed to be the nicest people.
HONOR BRIGHT. I hung out with Honor Bright multiple times over the course of the day... in the morning I was stationed at the front gates passing out free CDs and I got to meet Oreskaband, lmfao. Oh and I have some **EPIC** news for you all... which will be revealed in just a few days...
AGAINST ME! In truth, most of the bands there I've already seen/met. Mostly I was there for Against Me!, though I have seen them before as well. In the morning before the gates opened my bosses asked what bands we wanted to see sidestage... no one answered... except for me! So Against Me! ended up playing last and all of the Warped Eco kids were all just chilling, haha, it was cool. Some guy thought I was a girlfriend of one of the band members and holy shit, THAT'S cool too. XD
Early in the day I ran into Warren (their drummer) and asked him to pass my cartoon of Tom along. He told me to stop by and meet them at 3, which I did. Tom had my picture in his pocket, which I hope means he liked it since he didn't just throw it away. :] He also smiled at me and patted my shoulder while I was backstage for Anberlin (the band on before AM!) and I nearly melted. Holy shit, I am in love with him.
